Publisher Description
TV Signal Buddy - This Android app gives you the ability to easily locate the direction of any digital TV transmission tower in Australia. Ideal for travellers & general purpose users looking to quickly tune their TV’s to get the very best possible signal... Not only that, it will also pin point the direction of TV Satellites via camera view, giving the ability to see any obstacles that may interfere with the signal.
Some of the main features include:
Map view:
This displays all the digital TV transmission towers & their directions within the desired search area. TV Signal Buddy will recommend which TV transmitter will have the best possible signal by colour coding each TV Tower (Green: Good, Orange: Variable, Red: Poor). You can then use your Android mobile phone like a compass, by slowly turning the device; TV Signal Buddy will then give you the direction of the TV Tower you’re searching for.
Second Location:
In map view; TV Signal Buddy gives the ability to search a second location, by simply typing in a town or city name. This is great for when you’re caravanning around Australia let’s say & wish to search your next destination.
Tower Information:
Gain in-depth knowledge about each digital TV transmission tower – Distance, Strength, Broadcasting Channels, Frequency & so much more, by simply pressing the TV tower icon.
TV Tower Camera View:
Using the Android camera, TV Signal Buddy will show you the direction of the digital TV transmission towers in your desired search parameter. While at the same time recommending the best possible signal, by colour coding the TV transmitters (Green: Good, Orange: Variable, Red: Poor). Again giving you the ability like no other Android app & allowing you to see any obstacles which may interfere with the signal.
Satellite Camera View:
TV Signal Buddy will also direct you to the correct position of the Optus D3 - C1 (VAST, FOXTEL Services) TV Satellites via its amazing camera function. This making TV Signal Buddy ideal for people in low lying areas which are susceptible to low signal strength & require Satellite technology.
